Why I Switched To A Macbook

The Problem

I had it up to here with subpar Windows laptops that I couldn’t get Linux to work on properly. I’ve used laptops both from the high-end (1500$+) and low-end (~350$), and all I got was thermal throttling, a severe one at that (I am talking about 3.2GHz to 200MHz). Something had to change.

Forgive Me Father, For I Have Sinned

I love Linux, I do. But it isn’t ready for the laptop market. I wasn’t going back to using Windows, that’s for sure. So I had to bite the bullet and buy from a company I never wanted to associate with. What did I get? A quality laptop (Macbook Air M3) that gave me zero troubles, incredible performance, and was UNIX-based so that I could use a proper OS.

Should You?

So to my fellow Linux’ers, if you need a reliable laptop with an actual OS, just get a Mac, seriously.
